The HEX1 and HEX2 switches are decided based on the following rule that combines the converter information and switching frequency information into one Hex code:

2^(TypeNum) x (Fsw,H-bridge + Fsw,boost)

For example for SIRIUS S with type number=10:

2^(10) x (6500+13000)=2.00E+7 (rounded up)

Hex 2 is defined by the decade (=7), Hex 1 by the first digits. i.e. 2.00. From the table in Olivier’s document (attached) we can choose the Hex1 that is the number just before 200, i.e. 177 corresponding to Hex1 is 4. Therefore, the Hex1,2 combination is 4,7. You can find attached the excel file with different cases.

In the future converter types, the type number may be selected based on this rule to avoid any overlapping.

This change is to be made in DSP version 151.

THe DIM number 10 on the DSP Regulation card will display the ERROR.
