Control Electronics

This page provides an overview of different power converter control systems used at CERN Accelerators. The latest evolution of the control crate built in to medium power converters is refered to as RegFGC3. There is one type of crate (version 7) for thyristor-based and one type (version 10) for Switch mode power converters.
